I have an epub copy of Journey to the West that it hangs on. There are many other personalization options but I don't need them.Įverything works fine reading most Epubs. I choose a background that is not textured. The book reader itself, I use single-page mode. I do not use the net library or my files options. If you tap all books it allows you to sort by series or tags. This is a good thing and it only takes half a second for the cover to load once you slow down. You can scroll faster than book images load. If I missed the option to enlarge them I would love to know about it. I have bad eyesight so the covers are almost too small. The third shelf type shows one book in focus and you swipe right to see the next book. The second shelf has just covers and six books on each shelf. The first shelf type with two books to a shelf has the cover of a book then the book information out beside the cover. I don't know if the shelf types have names. Rebuilding covers was only needed because of the deep clean I did trying to remove Moon+ Reader. This was annoying because it would start over each time and crash again. It also crashes during book cover rebuilding. That was not a very big deal because it resumed from where it left off. Moon+ Reader chokes and crashes several times during Book import. Moon+ Reader kept my bookshelf intact through the rough handling. Finally, I got sd maid to clean up after it was deleted, but even that was not enough. I had a hell of a time trying to clean Moon+ Reader off my device for a fresh install. I am unsure if this is from normal fresh start behavior but I doubt it. I also download hi-res covers.įirst startup: screen orientation landscape. My books have the metadata and folder structure from Calibre. ![]() The 1361 books are located on a Micro SD card.
